News Events

The News Events tool within OptiVest allows investors to view up-to-date news information in different categories and from different countries. OptiVest will also search the news stories for company news and link that news to story to that company. This makes it incredibly easy to stay up-to-date with news relating to companies in your portfolio. OptiVest will also alert you if there is a news story relating to any of the companies in your portfolios, ensuring that you are always aware of any breaking news stories.

In addition to general news stories, OptiVest has a financial news feed that details broker upgrades / downgrades or profits warnings. News of these will often have a direct effect on a companies stock price.

You can also view all news events relating to one individual company. This makes it possible to see how a stock price has reacted in the past to certain news events.
